2nd LSF Predictions Post

So, I'll be man enough to say that I made a bad call in the NFC Championship game. But hey, so did Jon, so I don't feel that bad. At least the Steelers are beating the Ravens, which although I don't want to have happen, it does help my chances to pull even with Andrew in the LSF Predictions table.

To go along with Brandon's idea about the predictions around here at TLSF, this second predictions post is prompting you to leave a comment on three matches you would like to predict for the coming week. You can pick any sport, any teams, any match (but don't try to pad your stats by picking something like the Boston Bruins beating the Ottawa Senators (however, isn't it cool that the Sens are the worst team in the Northeast this year?). If you don't want to make picks, that's cool too. We write for a blog that has no judgments, except if I go 0-2 in the NFL Championships, and I just get reamed by you fools.

By the way, should we add Brandon's post-Bowl game bowl predictions to the record books? It's a democracy around here, so we can vote on that.

Add your picks to the comments of this post if you'd like, and best of luck.

1. NHL West WILL BEAT the NHL East. Then the Canucks can get home ice advantage in the Lord Stanley's Cup, right?

2. The Lakers WILL EMBARRASS the Clippers, as I continue to further the greatest sports rivalry in the history of sports by picking against the former Buffalo squad.

3. Chivas WILL CRUSH Tecos to get their first FMF win of the 2009 campaign. I know I shouldn't pick my teams, but F that.

EXTRA PICK: Brandon's bowl picks shouldn't get added to his stats in my opinion, only because it will make him look like he picks a ton more games than the rest of us. Nice picks, though.

His shouldn't count. I will make my picks later and at least one of my teams will always be involved

And thanks for the shout out Tommy on going 0-2 to start. As Justin Timberlake says "What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around"... great stuff from him.

Servite soccer over SJB on the 23rd
Wake Basketball over Va Tech on the 21st
And South over North in the Senior Bowl on the 24th

East over West in THE game, James Blake over Igor Andreev in the Aussie Open (if it happens, they both have to win their second round matches tonight first), and Marcos Baghdatis over Mardy "Sad" Fish. There you go, one wish-washy favorite, one mild upset and one pick on a relatively evenly matched game. You can decide what is what.

I also don't think my Bowl picks should count (except the Alabama-Utah [Face!]), unless Andrew decides that they should count, in which case, of course he's right! Who is our tiebreak on this? The Riz?

You'll have to take my word on this, but when I was walking from my work to the Arco nearby, I saw a young "hot" girl driving a Lexus and wearing big sunglasses speed around another car who had the audacity of making a right onto Glassell. I predicted that the girl would then turn into Chapman University. She did. I say: Count it!

Way to call it on the Chap-Girl. I'll update the standings after the all star game, but it looks like the Clippers lost, which is great for me, and Wake Forest got messed up, which is bad for Jon. Let's go FISH!
