What a college football season it was.....They say that every year, right? Well, I did have a great year on one front, the Rice Football winning ten games in a season front. My trip to Houston was sweet: the Bowl win was exciting, the New Year's celebration was fun and I got half off at the Rice Bookstore. Woot!Had I known that the internet has not hit Houston, I may have tried harder to squeeze all my Bowl picks in before I left. I did not, however, and once I missed one game analysis, I sunk into the depths of despair commonly experienced by us TLSFers.
As we are trying to get better at holding each other accountable, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to finish posting my predictions. You'll have to take it for what it is worth. I'm telling you that I made these picks before the games, but that doesn't mean that you have to believe me:

On the year on straight pick 'em I was 20-14
On the year on lines I was 23-10-1
For the record, the Los Angeles Times' College Football expert, everyone's favorite Chris Dufresne, went 15-19 on straight pick 'ems and he still has a job. Ridiculous. Hopefully by next year TLSF will have gotten so hot that we'll be raking in enough dough to where I can take a run at some lines in Vegas. If I had put 10 dollars on every Bowl game(Then again, you know I wouldn't have been betting on teams like Texas and Rutgers.), I would have spent 340 dollars and gotten 470 in return. Or even better, I might have a job at the Times.

Liar
I second that.
Brandon Davis has full blown AIDS.
My straight pick 'em scores were documented by one Don Cimarusti in his work office pool, which he did not quite dominate.
My line picks are also documented on some early December sports page lying somewhere out in the garage.
Karen Tighe has full blown AIDES.
