Allstate Sugar Bowl: New Orleans, LA, USA, 1/4/11, 5:30pm

Ohio State (11-1) v. Arkansas (10-2)
Ohio State favored by 3

As usual, the BCS puts together a game that I hate. Why? Let me count the ways.

Arkansas has two losses.

Ohio State has the same number of losses as Wisconsin and Michigan State, yet they get BCS Bowls while the Spartans are on the outside looking in.

Ohio State is yet another team (Oklahoma, Virginia Tech) that do not fair very well in BCS games.

The Big 10 is notoriously a weaker conference, yet they get two auto-bids, while one loss Boise (who lost to the current number 13 team in overtime) is resigned to a late December Bowl (even after beating Va Tech, tonight's Orange Bowl participant).

The SEC had a down year, yet Arkansas did not slip any because they lost to Auburn and Alabama when both of those teams were ranked all super high.

Arkansas won neither division in the SEC.

Ohio State has a bunch of players suspended for five games next year, yet are not out for this game. Sure, that has nothing to do with the matchup, but how does it make sense?

I'm not going to watch this one, it means nothing to me. Pryor probably goes pro and avoids his suspension, proving you can get away with just about anything if you are good at sports (except fight dogs).

The pick: Ohio State - Me being forced to pick them proves there is no god.

The line: They cover because Arkansas is just so unqualified.
