As I've said, I'm a complete nervous wreck right now because of this game. I just wonder if I am the only one feeling tha way because my team could blow a 3-0 lead, or if Hawk fans feel the same way just because this is going to be so nuts.
It's just so crazy, because if the 'Nucks win, the team just kind of moves on and goes forward. If we lose, a lot of people could lose their jobs. Vigneault, Luongo, Gillis, a whole lot of people. I guess that's probably why Chicago fans aren't feeling the same kind of pressure. If the Hawks lose, it's no biggie because they were the 8 seed and down 0-3. If we lose, it's epic. I'm so glad I don't have to actually play this game. Watching will be hard enough.
After all that's been said back and forth, I think we both know that it's just because we have so much respect for each other's team. It's a thin line between hatred and respect in a rivalry like this. And, can anyone claim a more intense/exciting rivalry in all of sports right now? I don't think so.
So, Daniel Sedin stops way in front of Crawford on a frozen puck, and Keith just starts punching him in the back of the head. You can't seriously keep defending this guy.
1-0 'Nucks after 1. We're hitting hard, getting hances, and it's been a solid first 20 minutes. Probably going to get a lot more physical as we move on.
Headed to the 3rd still 1-0 Canucks. Crawford has played unreal and our top players haven't shown up yet, besides Toews. Had some great chances in the 1st but not much going on but blocking shots and chasing in period 2. Yet hope remains. Come on Hawks!
Great effort by Toews' Hossa puts it on net And somehow Toews buries it from his belly. I think we have the momentum headed into OT. What a game so far?!

Interesting opening ten minutes. Lots of icing, lots of offsides. Unusual for these two teams.

Seabrook cross checks Hansen from behind when the puck isn't anywhere near them at 3:40 of the first. It's not hard to hate these guys.

I don't even know what to say. Luongo is in tears after the Burrows goal and so am I. Proud of this team. Proud of this rivalry. Proud of hockey.
